Bricabrac is a cultural association in Bolzano (Northern Italy) founded in 1998 offering since then music theatre for children.
Children and youth (6 – 20 years old) learn techniques necessary for working in the field of music theatre: pantomime, classical ballet, fork and historical dance, singing and drama. Moreover the children get experience in analysing a story without ignoring musical performance, scene and costumes. Bricabrac’s focus lies on a coordinated children’s group work.
It is also very important that Bricabrac works in South Tirol where Italian and German people live together, a situation not alwalys easy for both parties. Bricabrac tries to intensify contacts between Italian and German Children by creating possibilities to cooperate respecting thus their different traditions and orgin.
Actually we are 20 people on stage.
