Visitors
Due to our experience of previous festivals we reckon with at least 50.00 visitors. Apart from guests of the surrounding areas there will be visitors from all parts of Germany and the Netherlands.
Guest families
What is very extraordinary for the World Festival of Children’s Theatre is the fact that always two children together will be accomodated by more than 100 Lingen guest families, the rest will stay in youth hostels.
International Jury
An international jury of experts (Denmark, the Czech Republic, Germany) among them also members of the “Standing Committee for Children and Youth” of the AITA/IATA had chosen the groups out of 56 applicants.
Costs
All costs for the groups i.e. accomodation, food and drink, insurance and transfer to and from German airports to Lingen (Ems) are completely paid by the organizers.
Travelling costs must be generally borne by the participating groups, in special cases travelling costs can be subsidized.
Playgrounds
Apart from the theatre with 753 seats (the main stage) there is another stage in the Cinema No. 1 of the CineWorld situated directly next to the Theater an der Wilhelmshöhe and can be reached with few steps.
Workshops
In the morning all participants have the possibility to take part in performance, dancing and circus workshops directed by an international workshop team.
